Lake Highlands Espree Celebrates 30th Anniversary – Join the celebration with “The House is Rockin” Feb. 26 and 27. The curtain rises for “The House is Rockin” at 7:30 on both evenings at the Lake Highlands High School auditorium. Join the Dallas Organic Gardening Club for their meeting Feb. 28th at North Haven Gardens, 7700 Northaven Rd. Meet & Greet will begin at 2:30pm with the Speaker at 3:00pm. This month’s speaker is Kim Sorensen of Natures Guide on “How to Use Organic Gardening Products to Benefit Your Garden”.

Please join Amber Kocian, certified yoga instructor at the Generator Coffeehouse on March 6th at 11:00 a.m. for an hour (or two) of donation-based yoga! All proceeds will go directly to the MS Society which funds vital research and provides support for people with MS. The Generator is located at 107 N. 6th Street in historic Downtown Garland. Join us at 6:30 pm Saturday, March 6, in the LHUMC Great Hall for "Deja & Dessert," an entertaining evening, featuring a free concert and a gourmet dessert silent auction. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the LHUMC Youth Choir. Music from Gershwin to "Glee" from our adult, youth, children's and men's gospel choirs.
