The 3rd Annual Dash for the Beads 5K Run, 1 Mile Walk, and Costume Contest is right around the corner! The Dash is on Saturday, February 18, starting at 8:00 a.m. in the Bishop Arts District of North Oak Cliff. This year’s beneficiary is FIDO, the Oak Cliff-based organization working hard to bring a DOG PARK to Oak Cliff. www.fidooakcliff.org.

The MAC is pleased to present three new exhibitions featuring the works of Bill Haveron, William Powhida and Jeff Gibbons. An opening reception with the artists will be held Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at The MAC galleries, located at 3120 McKinney Avenue, in the Uptown District of Dallas. William Powhida and gallery owner Charlie James of Charlie James Gallery in Los Angeles will discuss Powhida's exhibition at the opening reception starting at 6:30pm. Exhibitions will be on view through March 31.
